10:30 AM – Official Welcome by local Ohlone Representatives
 
11:00 AM – 5:00 PM – Cultural Demonstrations & Artisan Vendors
 
1:00 PM – Special Book Event with Deborah Miranda,
author of Bad Indians — A Tribal Memoir (Heyday 2024)

2:00 PM – Special Panel Presentation on the Successful Campaign to Save the West Berkeley Ohlone Village and Shellmound Site and Next Steps

3:00 & 4:00 PM –  Storytelling for All Ages

Interactive California Indian Games Throughout the Day


Curated by one of California I CAN’s resident cultural advisors, Northern Sierra Mewuk basketweaver Jennifer Bates, this year’s festival will feature 19 California Indian culture bearers demonstrating traditional arts and crafts and another 15-20 artisan-vendors offering their unique and beautiful one-of-a-kind creations.
